Chennai: The Joint Action Committee (JAC) meeting has passed a resolution on the issue of delimitation, which expressed concern over the “lack of transparency and clarity” from the Central Government. The JAC unanimously demanded transparency on any delimitation from the Central Government and appealed to postpone the delimitation in parliamentary constituencies on the basis of the 1971 census population for the next 25 years.
