New Delhi. The Ayushman Bharat scheme has come into force in Delhi. Delhi people will also be able to take advantage of free treatment facility from now on. Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana was implemented in the presence of Union Health Minister JP Nadda, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, Delhi Health Minister Pankaj Singh. Under this scheme, all the characters living in Delhi will get the benefit of free treatment up to Rs 10 lakh. Out of this, the Central Government and the Delhi Government will give Rs 5 lakh.
From April 10, the cards of Ayushman Yojana will start to be issued to the people of Delhi. Before the assembly elections in Delhi, PM Modi had announced that after the formation of BJP government, the residents of Delhi will be given an additional health cover of Rs 5 lakh with the Ayushman scheme. Earlier, the Aam Aadmi Party government of Delhi refused to implement the Ayushman scheme of the Center, due to which the people of Delhi were deprived of this facility. Now only West Bengal is the only state where the Ayushman scheme has not been implemented.
On this occasion, Union Health Minister JP Nadda said, this Ayushman Bharat is an assurance scheme. Along with this, he taunted that the AAP government had deprived the people of Delhi, that is why he dusted in the election. At the same time, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta congratulated the people of Delhi and said that the people are finally getting the person they deserve. I thank the Central Government and PM Narendra Modi for this. Delhi Health Minister Pankaj Singh said, “Delhi should have got the benefit of this scheme, the previous government did not allow it to be implemented, he only talked about the Mohalla clinic. While Mohalla clinics are not working properly, they are only coaches, it is under investigation.
