New Delhi. The Babbar Khalsa gang was trying to attack a terrorist attack in Mahakumbh. UP DGP UP DGP Prashant Kumar revealed this today. He said that after the joint operation of UP ATS, STF and Punjab Police, the terrorist Lajra Christ of Babbar Khalsa has been arrested from Kaushambi in Uttar Pradesh. Three live grenades, a pistol, 13 cartridges and two detonators have been recovered from him. After attacking in Mahakumbh, he had a plan to flee Portugal. Lajra Christ was also in contact with ISI. Due to tight security arrangements in Mahakumbh, planning for the attack by the terrorist could not succeed.

UP DGP Prashant Kumar said that before the conclusion of Mahakumbh, we had received information from many intelligence agencies that some anti -social elements were trying to create unrest. In the same sequence, UP ATS has achieved great success after an operation run jointly by UP STF and Punjab Police. We have arrested Lajra Christ, a terrorist who joined Kaushambi from Babbar Khalsa International and belonging to ISI. Apart from weapons, a mobile phone with a fake address, without SIM card, has also been seized from him.
Terrorist Lajra Christ is close to terrorist Virendra Singh alias Ravi, who was killed in Pilibhit. According to the DGP, the terrorist Christ also stayed in Kanpur and Lucknow. Lajar Christ has adopted Christianity and the ISI handler sitting in Pakistan provided it as auspicious and ammunition through a drone. Lajra Christ has been lodged in Amritsar Jail in the case of heroine smuggling. He was injured in a fight with other prisoners in the jail after which he was rushed to the hospital and escaped from there.
