A person from Delhi was lost in Saudi Arabia’s Flynas Airlines. The victim gave a complaint to the company several times in this case, but every time the company was ignored. In the end, the victim filed a case in the District Consumer Disputes Relations Commission. Hearing the matter, the Consumer Disputes Relations Commission ruled to give the Airlines company to the consumer with Rs 1 lakh 6 percent interest. Along with this, the decision to give compensation of 10 thousand rupees for mental pain was also given.
This whole matter is of 2024 last year. Akash Aggarwal along with his family went to visit Saudi Arabia from Delhi between 23 December 2024 to 3 January. While returning from Saudi, Akash gave 5 bags to the staff for the checkin at the airport. The airlines staff tagged 4 bags of family members and offered a bag on the belt without a tag. The family had told the staff at the counter about this.
But after reaching Delhi, he got only 4 bags and the remaining fifth bag was lost. The complainant sent emails several times to the airlines to get information about the lost bag, but no response was received from the airlines. In the end, the victim filed a case against the company in the commission. The people of the company did not come during the hearing. The Consumer Commission said that the assistant employees of the airlines and the officers in touch with the complainant were negligent. In such a situation, the Commission now gave its verdict in favor of the victim.
