New Delhi. Three accused, including his wife Nikita Singhania, arrested in the AI engineer Atul Subhash suicide case, got bail from the court today. The City Civil Court of Bengaluru accepted the bail plea of Nikita along with her brother Anurag Singhania and mother Nisha Singhania. Atul Subhash had committed suicide by hanging himself in his flat in Bengaluru on December 9, accusing his wife Nikita and her family of harassing him. After this, the police arrested Nikita from Gurugram while her mother Nisha and brother Anurag from Prayagraj.
Atul Subhash had released a video of 1 hour 23 minutes before committing suicide. Along with this, he had also written a 24-page suicide note. In this he had made many serious allegations against Nikita and his family. Atul had also accused Nikita’s uncle Sushil Singhania and Jaunpur Family Court judge Rita Kaushik. Atul had said that Judge Rita Kaushik insulted him several times during the hearing of the case. Not only this, the judge had asked for a bribe of Rs 5 lakh to settle the case. Nikita’s uncle Sushil Singhania got interim bail from Allahabad High Court on a personal bond of Rs 50 thousand.
On the other hand, Atul Subhash’s parents had filed a petition in the Supreme Court for the custody of their four-year-old son, the hearing on which is going on. Atul Subhash was originally from Bihar. He worked as an AI engineer in a software company in Bengaluru. His wife Nikita was living and working in Gurugram after separating from him. Whereas Nikita’s family lives in Jaunpur. After the suicide of Atul Subhash, Nikita’s mother and brother had fled from Jaunpur, after which the police arrested both of them from Prayagraj.
