New Delhi. Swayambhu Pastor Bajinder Singh, convicted on charges of sexual harassment and rape, has been sentenced to life imprisonment by the Poxo court of Mohali. On March 28, the court convicted Bajinder. At the same time, due to lack of evidence, other accused were acquitted. After Bajinder was sentenced, the victim said that today many girls and women have won who are victims of her exploitation. At the same time, the victim, fearing an attack on herself, pleaded with the DGP of Punjab to ensure the safety of her and her family.
In the year 2018, this case of sexual harassment was filed against Bajinder Singh. The victim, who hails from Zirakpur in Punjab, alleged that Balinder Singh, who claimed to cure diseases through a miracle, committed obscene acts with her. Sent pornographic messages on the phone and did wrong with him. After the case was registered, Bajinder was trying to leave the country, but the police arrested him from Delhi Airport on July 2018, showing promptness. Bajinder was about to ride in a London flight. He was then appeared in court.
However, he was granted bail after being in jail for some time. Balinder Singh, who came from the Jat family, went to jail at the age of 20 in a murder case. Somehow he felt an attachment to Christianity in jail and after exiting, he declared himself a pastor and claimed to cure many diseases with a miracle. After this he built a church in Jalandhar. Today, Bajinder also has a large number of followers. The victim also claimed that Bajinder Singh is converting people and for this she gets money from abroad through hawala.
