Ban on 59 medicines including Paracetamol, Pan-D implemented. Don't buy from the shop, orders issued to stop sales.

The Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) has declared 59 medicines failed during the surprise inspection conducted in the month of August. These include important medicines like Paracetamol, Pan-D, antibiotics, BP, sugar, vitamins and calcium. This news has created a stir in the entire health world.

What was found?

During inspection, the quality of these medicines was found not to be as per the prescribed standards. According to CDSCO, several deficiencies have been observed in these medicines, such as:

Medicines do not dissolve easily. Medicines not having correct quantity. Impurities in the manufacturing process.

Due to these flaws, consuming these medicines can be dangerous for health. After CDSCO issued the alert, now pharmaceutical companies will have to remove these medicines from the market.

Which medicines had flaws?

The most surprising thing in this list is that even the daily used medicines like Paracetamol and Pan-D have failed. Apart from this, flaws have also been found in sugar and BP medicines, which are related to the lives of millions of people.

Inspection is done every month

CDSCO conducts surprise checks across the country every month, collects samples of medicines and tests them. During August, about 40 thousand samples were tested, out of which 59 medicines were found not to be of quality. Last month also 70 medicines were found to have failed.

Combinational medicines were already banned

It is noteworthy that in the month of August itself, the Central Government had banned 156 fixed dose combination medicines, which are commonly used in the form of fever, cold, pain killer, multi-vitamins and antibiotics.

What precautions should be taken?

If you are using any of these medicines, contact your doctor immediately and get information about alternative medicines. Before taking the medicines available in the market, check their quality and reliability.

These medicines will be removed from the market

After the investigation report came, CDSCO has ordered the companies to withdraw these medicines from the market. Now these medicines will soon be removed from the market so that any kind of health related problem can be avoided.

Big impact on health

This news has shocked the general public and health experts. In such a situation, it remains to be seen how the pharmaceutical companies and the government resolve this issue and what further steps are taken.
