Taj West End Hotel in Bengaluru has received a bomb threat. This threat has been given by unknown miscreants through email. The hotel, which hosts prominent politicians and cricketers, had received the threat this morning itself. Local police and bomb disposal squad have reached the spot and are currently conducting a thorough investigation. On Saturday, police said that Taj West End Hotel located in Race Course area of Bengaluru has received a bomb threat. This threat was given by unknown persons through email. Every corner of the hotel has been examined in detail. Bengaluru Deputy Commissioner of Police Shekhar HT confirmed to news agency ANI that the bomb threat was received from unknown persons. An investigation is currently underway to identify the people behind the threat. In recent times, there has been an increase in bomb threat emails targeting schools, hospitals, government offices and even airports. Although most of the threats have proved to be fake, the administration is still maintaining full vigilance.
