The holiday dates for banks are decided by the Reserve Bank of India. The date of holiday for banks has also been fixed for the month of November, accordingly, no work will be done in the bank branches on that day. This holiday includes all Sundays and the second and fourth Saturdays.

There will be a holiday on November 1 in Agartala, Belapur, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Dehradun, Gangtok, Guwahati, Tripura, Karnataka, Uttarakhand, Jammu & Kashmir, Maharashtra, Meghalaya, Sikkim, and Manipur on the occasion of Deepavali, Kut, and Kannada Rajyotsava.
On November 2, there will be a holiday in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and other states on the occasion of Diwali, Laxmi Puja, and Govardhan Pooja. There will be a holiday on 3rd November on Sunday. There will be a holiday in Bengal, Bihar and Jharkhand on the occasion of Chhath Puja on 7th November.
Banks will remain closed in Bihar, Jharkhand, and Meghalaya on 8 November on the occasion of Chhath and Wangala Festival. Banks will also remain closed on 9, 10 and 11 November. Banks will remain closed in Uttarakhand on 12th November. Mizoram, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Chandigarh, Uttarakhand, Telangana (Hyderabad), Arunachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Jammu, Uttar Pradesh, Nagaland, Bengal, New Delhi on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti, Karthika Purnima, and Rahas Purnima on 15 November. Banks will remain closed in Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Srinagar.
