New Delhi. BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha celebrated World Ocean Day on 8 June with a deep involvement of devotion, environmental activities and public awareness at Juhu Beach in Mumbai. During this time, not only a cleanliness campaign was conducted on Juhu Beach, but people were also made aware of it. The BAPS organization is famous globally for its spiritual values and its unwavering commitment to selfless service. The young volunteers of BAPS gathered on the banks of the Indian Ocean on Juhu Beach on Sunday morning in Badi and prayed for global peace, ecological balance and the good of all living beings.
The devotional presence of the young volunteers of BAPS confirms that spirituality and service for BAPS are not different, but both of them are deeply connected to each other. After the prayer, BAPS volunteers launched a comprehensive cleanliness drive at Juhu Beach, in which they removed plastic, decompatible garbage and debris from the sea shore. The disciplined and tireless hard work of BAPS volunteers showed internal dedication to environmental protection.
Call for inspiration and protection of Mahant Swami Maharaj
Under the spiritual leadership of Param Pujya Mahant Swami Maharaj of BAPS, the BAPS organization is constantly trying for both internal change and social welfare. BAPS is creating a sympathetic and sustainable future culture through environmental campaigns, human service and awareness programs.
BAPS volunteers make people aware
Not only this, BAPS volunteers also discussed sea pollution, waste management and environmental awareness with the people who came on the beach of the sea. Their purpose was not only to share information with the people, but also to motivate people to participate in the protection of the environment. Let us know that since 1992, World Ocean Day has been showing how important oceans are for life. In Sanatan Dharma, the ocean is worshiped as a divine power considering the ocean as a symbol of purity, depth and divine balance.
Foundation of future inspired by devotion
The program ended with a collective pledge to protect the oceans and preserve the environment for future generations. This initiative is a direct example of the belief of BAPS that true devotion is expressed through service and devotion to God includes his creation. The BAPS Swaminarayan institution will continue to inspire spiritual leadership, civil responsibility and environmental protection through its global services.
