Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi gave a statement of ‘Battle against Indian State’ some time ago. There was a lot of uproar over his statement. Now Rahul Gandhi’s difficulties in this matter have increased. The judge of the court of Sambhal district has issued a notice to Rahul Gandhi regarding his statement. The court has asked Rahul Gandhi to respond or appear on the complaint filed against him.
What is the whole matter?
In fact, Rahul Gandhi made a statement on 15 January 2025 that ‘we are now fighting BJP, RSS and Indian State (Indian State)’. A case was filed in the Special MP/MLA Court to register an FIR against Rahul’s statement. However, the CJM dismissed the matter on the basis of jurisdiction. Regarding the matter related to Rahul Gandhi’s statement, advocate Sachin Goyal said- “The court has accepted the complaint and issued a notice to Rahul Gandhi and directed him to appear in the court on 4 April or file a reply.”
Court sent summons of April 4
Advocate Sachin Goyal said on sending notice to Rahul Gandhi in the case of ‘Battle against Indian State’, “We filed a revision petition and Sambhal’s District Judge Court has issued summons to Rahul Gandhi to appear in court on 4 April.”
What was Rahul Gandhi’s full statement?
On January 15, the new headquarters of the Congress party ‘Indira Bhavan’ was inaugurated. On this occasion, Rahul Gandhi had targeted the BJP and said- “Congress and other opposition parties are fighting not only with BJP but Indian State.” Rahul had said- “Don’t think that we are fighting a fair battle. There is no fairness in this. If you believe that we are fighting a political organization called BJP or RSS, you have not understood what is happening.
