New Delhi. King Jigme Kesar Namgyal Wangchuk of Bhutan also bathed in Prayagraj Mahakumbh today. During this, UP CM Yogi Adityanath also took a dip in the confluence with him. Bhutan King reached Lucknow on Monday where CM Yogi Adityanath welcomed the airport. After this he reached Mahakumbh today. After reaching Mahakumbh, the King of Bhutan offered prayers at Triveni Sangam with Yogi Adityanath. He then also fed Dana to Siberian birds. From here he came to see Akshay Vat. Cabinet ministers Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi and Swatantra Dev Singh were also present in the government during this period.

Earlier on Monday, the king of Bhutan in Lucknow met UP Governor Anandi Ben Patel and met Raj Bhavan. A dinner was also organized at Raj Bhavan to welcome the King of Bhutan. It also attended the UP government ministers and officials. There was also a discussion about further strengthening the cultural and bilateral relations of India and Bhutan during the dinner. Earlier in December 2024, the king of Bhutan visited India with his wife when he met Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

On Monday, about 2 crore 33 lakh devotees took a bath on Basant Panchami on the day of the third Amrit bath. Although Mahakumbh will conclude on 26 February i.e. Shivaratri, but now the arena will leave from here after three amrit baths.
