There has been a major accident in the local train in Thane, Maharashtra. Five passengers have died after falling from Mumbai’s local train. The accident took place between Diva and Mumbra station at 9 am today.Giving this information, a police officer said that six passengers were injured in the accident.

An official said that the incident took place between the Diva and the Kopar railway stations when a crowd -filled train was going to Kasara.He said that during the busy time the train was very crowded, many people were standing near the train door.
The official said that at least 10 passengers fell from the moving train.He said that the guard of another train going to Kasara informed the railway officials about the incident.
Adhikari said that all the passengers who fell from the train were taken to a government hospital in Kalwa. Four of them were declared dead.He said that those who died are between 30 and 35 years of age.
Swapnil Neela, Chief Public Relations Officer of Central Railway, had earlier told ‘PTI-Bhasha’ that the guard of Kasara informed the control room about the passengers who were injured on the track at around 9.30 am.
He said that the injured passengers were taken to nearby hospitals. The official said that it is not yet known which train passengers have fallen from.
From Thane, Shiv Sena Lok Sabha member Naresh Mhaske demanded an inquiry into the death of the passengers.
“The cause of the incident should be ascertained,” he told a regional news channel. How the passengers fell … Is there a crowd, whether they were pushed, whether there was any quarrel, all possible reasons should be investigated. ”
