Two people sustained burn injuries when a bus caught fire due to firecrackers in Dwarka, national capital Delhi. At the same time, a person riding on a two-wheeler laden with firecrackers died due to an explosion in Eluru city of Andhra Pradesh.

66 firecracker shops burnt to ashes

Firecracker shops were burnt to ashes near Garga Bridge in Bokaro Steel City police station area of ​​Jharkhand. The fire was so severe that 66 shops were burnt to ashes within no time. The district administration had given permission to these shopkeepers to set up firecracker shops temporarily. The fire has been brought under control and the matter is being investigated. Shopkeepers claimed that they suffered huge losses in this incident. He demanded compensation for the loss from the administration. After the incident, BJP MLA from Bokaro Biranchi Narayan reached the spot and said that if the district administration and fire department had been active, such an incident would not have happened.

2 people burnt due to fire crackers

At the same time, on the occasion of Diwali, a person was carrying firecrackers in a bus in Chhawla area of ​​Dwarka, Delhi, when it caught fire and he and another passenger sitting next to him got burnt. On receiving information about the incident, police officers reached the spot. The officer said that during interrogation it was found that the man was carrying a small quantity of firecrackers, which caught fire in the bus, causing burn injuries to him and the co-passenger sitting next to him. He said that nothing like a blast has come to light so far. The officer said that both have been taken to the hospital and further investigation is being done in this regard.

Explosion in bike laden with firecrackers, 1 dead

A person riding on a two-wheeler laden with firecrackers died in an explosion in Eluru city of Andhra Pradesh on Thursday. Police said the incident occurred when two men were carrying a bag full of firecrackers purchased to celebrate Diwali. A senior police officer said on the basis of preliminary investigation that a bag filled with ‘onion bomb’ and other firecrackers exploded after falling on the road, due to which the bike rider died on the spot.

The man sitting in the rear seat of the vehicle and two other people standing on the roadside were injured and admitted to the hospital, the police officer said. According to the police, the explosion was so severe that the legs and other body parts of the two-wheeler rider were mutilated. (Language)
