Security agencies in India have become completely alert after the air strike in Pakistan. High alert has been issued in the districts adjacent to the border in Rajasthan. Strict steps have been taken in major cities like Jodhpur, Kishangarh and Bikaner from civil flights to schools and hospitals.
Flights from Jodhpur and Kishangarh Airport canceled
In view of security, all civil flights from Jodhpur and Kishangarh Airport have been canceled till May 10. According to Airport Director BL Meena, no civil flight will fly nor land by 5:29 am on May 10.
Bikaner Airport and Star Air flights also affected
Bikaner Airport has been completely closed for a day. IndiGo Airlines has canceled all its flights from Bikaner till 10 May.
At the same time, Star Airlines also canceled all flights from Nanded, Hindon, Adampur, Kishangarh and Bhuj for Wednesday due to security reasons.
Railways canceled all officers holidays
North-West Railways has also canceled the holidays of all its officers and employees, showing full vigilance and an order has been issued to return to duty immediately.
School closed in border districts, examinations postponed
School holidays have been declared in the districts adjacent to the border in Sriganganagar, Barmer, Jaisalmer and Bikaner. On the orders of the district collectors, all the examinations were postponed in these districts on Wednesday.
In Bikaner and Sriganganagar, government employees have been instructed not to leave the headquarters and not leave the headquarters.
Emergency preparations: 120 bed reserve in Jodhpur MDM Hospital
120 beds have been reserved at Mathuradas Mathur (MDM) Hospital in Jodhpur to deal with the possible emergency.

Electricity shut down overnight in Sriganganagar, blackout situation
Electricity was kept off overnight in Sriganganagar, the district of the border. Blackout was done in many villages and the district administration has instructed all departments to stay on alert mode.
