New Delhi. A huge disclosure has been made in the violence case in Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh. The murder of Supreme Court lawyer Vishnu Shankar Jain was planned during the violence. An accused of violence, Ghulam, has told this to the police during interrogation. Ghulam has recently been arrested. Advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain has filed a petition in the civil court claiming to be the Harihar temple in the east of the Jama Masjid of Sambhal. Apart from this, he is also advocating in many cases including Varanasi Gyanvapi, Madhya Pradesh Dhar Bhojshala.
He also played a role in the case of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid dispute of Ayodhya. According to the police, the accused of Sambhal violence works for a weapon smuggler named Ghulam Shariq Sata. Sarik Sata is currently in Dubai and operates the business from there. Ghulam said that during the survey of Jama Masjid, there was a plan to shoot lawyer Vishnu Shankar Jain amid the uproar. Let us tell you that after the court order, the ASI team reached Sambhal on 24 November 2024 to survey the Jama Masjid. A crowd of people there opposed the survey of the mosque.
On seeing this, the crowd became violent and attacked the police. The crowd started firing and brick stones with arson. Four people were killed in this violence while several policemen were seriously injured. The police had registered seven different FIRs in the case. The police have arrested several accused related to Sambhal violence and sent them to jail and the search for many others is still going on. The criminals involved in the violence have been identified with the help of CCTV and viral videos and their posters have also been released.
