Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s party YSRCP has suffered a major setback. Vijay Sai Reddy, considered a prominent leader of YSRCP, has retired from politics. He is going to resign from his membership of Rajya Sabha on Saturday. He has written on his X handle that this decision has not been taken under any pressure. Nor is he attending any party.

Now Vijay Sai Reddy will do farming

He said that my resignation is not for any post or gain. This decision is completely personal. There is no pressure, coercion or undue influence on me. Vijay Sai Reddy said that in future my focus will be on farming.

Expressed gratitude towards Jagan Mohan Reddy family

While announcing his retirement from politics, Vijay Sai Reddy said on his X handle that I will always be indebted to the YS family, who have supported me for four decades and three generations. I will always be grateful to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for giving me the opportunity to serve as a Rajya Sabha member twice and especially to Bharatamma Garu who helped me reach new heights in the political arena. I pray to God to bless Jagan garu with good health, immense success, everlasting happiness and a bright future.
