Thapliyal said that after traditionally offered prayers at the Omkareshwar temple of Ukhimath, the winter throne of Baba Kedar on the auspicious occasion of Mahashivaratri, the Dharmacharya Vedpathis have calculated the Panchagas to open the doors of Kedarnath temple. The Omkareshwar temple was decorated with flowers for this traditional worship. Rawal Bhimashankar Linga, the chief priest of Kedarnath temple, Asha Nautiyal of Kedarnath Temple, Asha Nautiyal, temple committee officials and religious officials were also present in the event.
Gangotri Yamunotri Dham doors will open in April
