An Indigo flight going from Delhi to Srinagar survived the accident when it was hit by a sudden horrific hail in the air. The accident caused severe damage to the aircraft’s nose cone, but more than 200 passengers aboard the aircraft are safe.
Storm of storm and fear in the air
When the flight was moving towards Srinagar, a sudden strong storm and hail surrounded the aircraft. The hailstorm damaged the front part of the aircraft badly.
According to eyewitnesses, the aircraft caused a strong tremor, causing many passengers to scream in fear. For some time, there was an atmosphere of chaos in the cabin.

In the hour of this crisis, the Indigo pilot presented the situation and kept the aircraft safely at Srinagar Airport.
As soon as the aircraft made safe landing, passengers breathed a sigh of relief and praised the aircraft team.

In view of the seriousness of the incident, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has started investigating the case. Officials say it is being ascertained how the aircraft entered this dangerous season despite the weather warning.
