An alleged important member of the notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi gang has been arrested. A senior police officer gave this information on Tuesday.
Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav said that Himanshu Sood, a resident of Phagwara (District Kapurthala), was working at the behest of Namit Sharma living in Dubai. Namit Sharma is said to be a close aide of gangster Bishnoi.
Counter Intelligence Jalandhar has arrested a target killing plan by arresting Himanshu Sood, a henchman of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, Himanshu Sood. Initial investigation has revealed that the arrested accused was working on the instructions of Dubai UAE -based Namit Sharma, who is a close associate of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.

According to the information, recently Himanshu Sood along with other members of his gang opened fire on a hotel businessman in Haridwar on the instructions of Namit Sharma. He was tasked to end the other 2 goals in Madhya Pradesh and Kapurthala.
