Kalindi Express was going from Prayagraj to Bhiwani. When on Sunday night at around 8.30 pm, the driver of the train saw some heavy object lying on the track. According to the driver of Kalindi Express, he applied emergency brakes. The train slowed down, but the engine collided with the object lying on the track. This caused a loud noise. After the train stopped, the driver got down from the engine of Kalindi Express and saw that there was a cooking gas cylinder there. The engine collided with it. It can only be called the driver’s presence of mind that he prevented a major accident from happening. If the train had derailed, the lives of many passengers could have been in danger.
It is being told that the investigation of this case has been handed over to UP ATS. According to the information, apart from the LPG cylinder, the police teams have also found dangerous things like petrol filled bottles, matchsticks and gunpowder from the spot. This has raised the suspicion that there was not only a conspiracy to derail the train but also preparations to cause a major accident. Earlier, a heavy object was found on the track near Kanpur. At that time, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav had said that the investigation of the case has been handed over to the Intelligence Bureau i.e. IB. A few days ago, the police also arrested a YouTuber who made reels by placing bicycles and other things on the railway track.
