In fact, after revision of voters in Bihar, the Election Commission released a draft voter list on 1 August. After this, Tejashwi Yadav showed an EPIC number and claimed that his name is not in the voter list. On this, the Election Commission said that Tejashwi’s EPIC number is second. The Election Commission has expressed suspicion that the EPIC number Tejashwi Yadav showed is fake. The Election Commission has asked Tejashwi Yadav to Voter ID card with his second EPIC number till 5 pm on August 16. The Election Commission says that this EPIC number was never released to Tejashwi and he also contested the Bihar assembly election of 2020 citing the second EPIC number. In such a situation, Tejashwi Yadav got a chance to surround the Election Commission due to Bihar Deputy CM Vijay Kumar Sinha having two EPIC number, but Vijay Sinha has currently proved that he has already been applying to remove an EPIC number.
