Unidentified miscreants fired several times in the air and escaped after a dispute over parking on Saturday evening in the Boring Canal Road area of Patna, the capital of Bihar. After this incident, panic spread in the area. The police gave this information on Sunday. Police said no one was injured in the incident.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Patna told ‘PTI-Bhasha’ that six policemen have been suspended for negligence in the incident.
Saket Kumar, the sub -divisional police officer (SDPO) of the secretariat, told reporters, “Unknown crooks were riding in a black SUV and they shot several times in the air in the Boring Canal Road area. Incidentally, in addition to law and order, Director General of Police (ADG) Pankaj Darad was also returning from there after a meeting at the same time.
He said, “The security guard of the ADG fired in the air near GPO Golambar in an attempt to stop the miscreants, but he escaped while driving at a high speed. The Darad immediately reported this to the police control room. ”
The SSP said that a team has been formed to investigate the incident and CCTV footage is being investigated to identify the accused. He said that the black SUV in which the accused were riding, did not have a number plate.
