Political significance of Prashant Kishore’s participation in youth movement on BPSC exam and paper leak
Prashant Kishore (PK), who landed in the Bihar Assembly by -elections with great ambitions, is looking for the shoulder of the youth after the crushing defeat of his Jan Suraj Party. In BPSC, his jump in the alleged paper leak-ridicule is being seen. Assembly elections are due in Bihar this year and his party is preparing to contest all the seats in the state. Prashant Kishore as an election strategist wants to register his presence in the assembly elections in every Surat.
Last year, Prashant Kishore’s party could not open an account in the by -elections for four assembly seats, but in three seats Belaganj, Imamganj and Tarari, his candidates stood third. Imamganj was interesting. There the RJD candidate lost by nearly six thousand votes while the candidate of Jan Suraj secured more than 37 thousand votes. This really gives political messages. Anyway, PK has prepared an electoral strategy for regional and national parties in various states of the country. In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections with Narendra Modi’s 2014 Lok Sabha elections to Bihar, Punjab, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal and Delhi, Prashant Kishore has buried the success of his election strategy.
The BPSC paper leak case in the upcoming assembly elections has given PK an opportunity to put the youth on the youth. When PK entered the movement to support the students, the Congress and the RJD also sought support. Sit on a fast unto death in front of Gandhiji’s statue at Gandhi Maidan in Patna. Formed a 51 -member Satyagraha Samiti of the youth. Arrested. After the court’s refusal to seek conditional bail, the order was received to release unconditionally by evening. It also has its own political signs. Prior to this, even before announcing the formation of the Jan Suraj Party, PK visited the entire Bihar and held meetings till the panchayat level. Obviously, PK’s intentions and his future plans can be understood.
In the BPSC case, Prashant Kishore alleges that jobs have been sold at the rate of one and a half crores and it is a scam of more than one thousand crore rupees. The Jan Suraj Party has filed a petition in the Patna High Court demanding the cancellation of the 70th BPSC examination and to conduct the examination again. In fact, 4.83 lakh youth had registered for the 70th joint preliminary examination of BPSC, in which more than 3.25 lakh students took the exam. When the candidates raised the voice of cancellation of the examination due to irregularities at Patna’s Bapu Examination Center, BPSC conducted the examination again at 912 centers including Bapu examination center, although the Commission rejected the demand for cancellation of the entire examination. BPSC President Parmar Ravi Manubhai and Nitish Cabinet Senior Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary have rejected the paper leak. The Commission has also sent a legal notice to Prashant Kishore regarding allegations of corruption on the Commission.
The paper leak is not new to Bihar. According to the DIG of the Economic Offenses Unit, EOU has been investigating 10 paper leak cases since 2012. About five and a half hundred people have been arrested in these cases, investigation is on. In recent years, the examinations were canceled due to teacher appointment, constable recruitment, Amin recruitment, and BPSC joint preliminary examination paper leaks in recent years. Right now there was a lot of discussion of Nalanda gang and Bihar about NEET exam paper leaks. People still remember the medical examination and Ranjit Don of Nalanda. After a long wait, the frustration of the youth is turning into resentment due to the appointment examination opportunities and such misconduct. PK wants to capitalize on this dissatisfaction. They are already putting on the minorities.
RJD and JDU looked more on their target during the Padyatra of Bihar for two years. In many meetings, he has promised Muslims in the population or more in the assembly. It is evident that the target is mainly RJD. During the latest movement, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar also took a dig at and said that Nitish Kumar is physically and mentally tired. In the 2025 election, his party is to have a real test, if he proves to be a two -edged sword, then the picture of Bihar may appear differently.
