New Delhi. No claim or objection has been submitted by any political party regarding the draft voter list released after the special intensive revision (SIR) of the voter list in Bihar. The Election Commission has given this information. Now the BJP has targeted the opposition, Congress and Rahul Gandhi on this matter. BJP leader Amit Malviya said, “There is nothing but opposition parties opposition to special intensive revision and political pretense.” There is a desperate attempt to discredit the Election Commission and create mistrust in democratic institutions.
The Indi Alliance’s Opposition to the Special Intensive Revision is Nothing but Political Optics, A Desperate Attempt to malign the election Commission and Sow Mistrust In Democratic InsTites.
If they genuinely had Concerns, where are the formal complaints?
Over 60,000… https://t.co/rtlp75YRLV– Amit Malviya (@Amitmalviya) August 7, 2025
Amit Malviya raised the question and said that if the opposition was really concerned, then why not a single formal complaint has been made till now? More than 60,000 booth level agents of opposition parties in Bihar are at the ground level, no one has filed a single complaint. So, then what is the meaning of daily disruption in Parliament on the SIR issue? Its simply means to distract attention from necessary issues and to disturb the proceedings of the House. He said, Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi keeps repeating the baseless claims of ‘theft of votes’ on the Election Commission, but the truth is something else which is more bitter.
The BJP leader said that, in fact, no one is voting for the Congress and its allies. The public has clearly rejected him in a strong manner. But perhaps the crown prince of the Congress is unable to accept this strong rejection. Therefore, he continues to attack the electoral process, system, constitutional institutions. The BJP leader further said that democracy is weakened by those who make noise without evidence, obstruct the work of the government and the House without reason and run away from their accountability.
