New Delhi. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has announced a tremendous increase in the amount of social security pension scheme in the state. The characters of this scheme will now get a pension of Rs 1100 instead of 400 every month. Under the Social Security Pension Scheme, widow women, old people and disabled people are provided financial assistance every month by the government. The increased pension will start getting from the month of July. Before this year’s assembly elections in Bihar, the NDA government has been given this big gift to the people of the state.

I am happy to say that under the Social Security Pension Scheme, all the elderly, disabled and widow women will now get Rs 1100 pension instead of Rs 400 every month. All the beneficiaries will get pension from the month of July at an increased rate. This amount in the account of all the beneficiaries is 10 of the month…

Giving information about this decision, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar wrote on the social media post, on the 10th of every month, the amount of pension will be sent to the account of the beneficiaries. This scheme will provide financial assistance to 1 crore 9 lakh 69 thousand 255 beneficiaries. The Chief Minister said that old people are precious part of the society and it is our top priority to ensure their respectable living. The state government will be constantly trying in this direction. Bihar Deputy CM Vijay Sinha said, this is a historic decision of the government.

Deputy CM said, there was a demand to increase social security pension for years. We talked to crores of people through the women’s dialogue program and after considering their demand, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar took this decision. The pension amount was being demanded to be made to Rs 1000 while the CM increased it to Rs 1,100. The decision to increase the amount of Social Security Pension Scheme by the Bihar government has been taken at a time when Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav has already announced that if his government is formed, Rs 2,500 will be deposited every month in the accounts of poor women and deprived people. Whereas Prashant Kishore has also said that after coming to power, he will give 2000 rupees every month.
