New Delhi. The Election Commission is providing fresh information about the special revision of voters running in Bihar every day. The Election Commission has released the latest data on special revision of voters on Tuesday night. According to the latest data of the Election Commission, 52 lakh voters have a sword hanging in Bihar. The name of so many voters is seen to be out of the voter list. Releasing the latest data of special revision of voters, the Election Commission has stated that 1866869 voters have died in the state. 2601031 voters have permanently left Bihar. The names of 750742 voters are recorded in more than one constituency. However, the Election Commission could not detect 11484 voters.
A total of 78969844 voters were registered in Bihar. According to the Election Commission, 6.62 percent of its people can be considered outside the voter list due to the above reasons. The Election Commission has said that it has received special revision forms from 71604102 voters out of the total voters. Out of which 71365460 voters have also been uploaded in the form system. The Election Commission will run a special revision campaign of voters in Bihar till 25 July. In such a situation, the remaining 2135616 voters have to submit their revision form till this date. The Election Commission has approved 11 documents for special revision of voters. Aadhaar card, ration card and earlier voter ID cards are not valid as documents.
The Election Commission will release a draft voter list on 1 August. People will be able to register objections to this by 31 August. Those who have not given documents in special revision, they will also be able to provide documents to the Election Commission from 1 to 31 August. After this, the Election Commission will release a new voter list for Bihar in September. Assembly elections are to be held in Bihar in October-November this year. The Election Commission says that it intends to stop the wrong people from casting votes and give the right to all the qualified people.
