New Delhi. Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena UBT MP Arvind Sawant opposed the bill on behalf of his party during the discussion on the Waqf Amendment Bill in the Lok Sabha. He not only questioned the intention of the government but also accused it of grabbing the land of Waqf through it. Sawant said, those who talked about ‘Buntayoi to cut you’ had to bring Saugat-e-Modi. He said that the intention and action of the government does not match. At the same time, on opposing the bill, first Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju and then Shiv Sena MP Srikanth Shinde of Shinde faction narrated a lot to Arvind Sawant.

Responding to Sawant’s talk, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said that I just want to say why Arvind Sawant’s tone has changed as Shiv Sena MP? Earlier, when he was in ‘Shiv Sena’, the style was different, we also liked it, now how has the style changed. Is it because you have joined hands with Congress? At the same time, MP Shrikant Shinde said, I fully support this bill on behalf of Shiv Sena and my leader Eknath Shinde. It is a historical and important day, first Article 370, then triple divorce and CAA, and now the bill has been brought to this House for the welfare of poor Muslims. He said that I was very sad to hear the speech of Arvind Sawant of UBT. It was very shocking.

Shinde said, I want to ask a question to UBT MP and his party, he should ask his conscience that even if Balasaheb Thackeray was alive today, would he say this? Today it is clear that UBT is adopting whose ideology and opposing this bill. He had a golden opportunity to rectify his mistakes, re -write his history and keep his ideology alive but UBT already crushed Balasaheb’s ideology. If Balasaheb would have been here today and read UBT disagreeing notes, then he would have been very sad.
