BJP MP Manoj Tiwari criticized Congress MP Rahul Gandhi for opposing the special intensive revision (SIR) of the voter list in Bihar and alleged that he wants illegal infiltrators to get the right to vote. Talking to ANI on Saturday, Manoj Tiwari said that Rahul Gandhi’s language is not compatible with his post as the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha.
Tiwari said, “The language he (Rahul Gandhi) is using is not in line with the post of the Leader of the Opposition … Their purpose is to obstruct the progress of the country, disrupt Parliament and create a baseless controversy. Now he is trying to ensure that illegal infiltrators are made voters.”
He said that the Indian group is opposing SIR as he predicts his defeat in the Bihar assembly elections. The BJP MP said, “Illegal infiltrators can never become voters in India, and even if they are formed, the Election Commission will identify them and remove them … Sir, this happens every year before the elections … If this issue is harassing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) coalition every year before the elections. Is.”
On Saturday, BJP national spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia retaliated on the Election Commission about Rahul Gandhi’s recent comments and accused him and the Congress party of repeatedly “unfounded allegations”.
Addressing the journalists, Bhatia alleged that whenever the Congress loses the election, the habitual blames. Bhatia said, “The Congress party is involved in scams. They lose the election. When they lose the election, they have to blame someone; sometimes they blame EVMs. Sometimes they give VVPAT. Sometimes they make the Election Commission of India. Do not make formal complaints. “
The BJP leader said, “If you want any measures in the law, Mr. Rahul Gandhi, then let me remind you that our country, India, rule of law, is ruled by the Constitution of India, and there are some processes to file your complaint. You have to make a formal complaint. Third, when you make a baseless allegation in the media, and after that, any constitutional institution demands the evidence, then you demand the proof,”
After the SIR in Bihar released the draft voter list by the ECI, Rahul Gandhi raised a new controversy and accused the ECI of “vote theft”, claiming that there was 1,00,250 fake votes in Mahadevpura assembly constituency of Bangalore Central Lok Sabha seat.
