Bengaluru. Will Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shivkumar take steps like Eknath Shinde of Maharashtra? According to state BJP leaders, this can happen. BJP leader R.K. Ashok has claimed the same. BJP leader Ashok said that there are many people like Eknath Shinde within the Congress and DK Shivkumar can be one of them. The BJP leader said that Shivkumar can try to partition in the Congress. R. Ashok claimed that as Eknath Shinde had separated from Uddhav Thackeray, the same would soon be seen in Karnataka. Ashok claimed that DK Shivkumar can become the leader of the Congress government by aligning with the BJP. At the same time, Karnataka BJP President BY Vijayendra claimed that the discord in Karnataka Congress has increased. Vijayendra said that everyone is targeting DK Shivkumar.
Actually, all this stirring has started after the recent statement of DK Shivkumar, the leader of Karnataka Congress. DK Shivkumar went to Prayagraj in the past and took a bath in Mahakumbh. He had said that Kumbh is organized and he does not want to raise any questions. DK Shivkumar also caught a separate line from Rahul Gandhi’s policy. He had said that all castes take along with them and they do not do caste politics. Apart from this, he also went to Sadhguru’s program on Mahashivaratri. Union Home Minister Amit Shah was also present there. It is now discussed that many of the Karnataka Congress leaders are unable to digest all these steps and statements of DK Shivkumar. However, no Karnataka Congress leader has given a statement against Shivkumar so far.
Please tell that the news of confrontation between DK Shivkumar and current CM Siddaramaiah is very old. When the Congress won the assembly elections in Karnataka, there was a discussion that DK Shivkumar wanted the post of CM, but the Congress high command made Siddaramaiah the CM. Then there were reports that Siddaramaiah would be removed after two and a half years and DK Shivkumar will be made CM. These reports were declared wrong by Siddaramaiah. Now Shivkumar has caught a different way from the Congress line. In such a situation, the Karnataka BJP feels that the deputy CM can revolt.
