New Delhi. Congress leader Ajay Kumar described Sikkim as the neighboring country of India. Ajay Kumar, while trying to surround the Modi government on foreign policy, said that we have spoiled the relationship with neighboring countries so much that Sikkim, Nepal and Bangladesh are unaware of India. After this statement of Ajay Kumar, he is being criticized a lot. The BJP, while targeting Ajay Kumar, also took Congress MP Rahul Gandhi in wraps. However, as the dispute escalated, Ajay Kumar apologized and clarified that the tongue had slipped.
At the same time, BJP’s national spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi reacted to Ajay Kumar’s statement, saying, Congress is a party whose leader Rahul Gandhi, sometimes and every session of Parliament, lives abroad. Senior leaders of his party are unable to select between the country and abroad.
