Modi said, active membership campaign will give new energy to all the party workers to work for the country. Only by becoming an active member will you get the opportunity to serve at the divisional, district and national level. I appeal to the workers across the country to become active members of BJP and strengthen this campaign. The PM informed that to become an active member, a worker has to register 50 members at one booth or at one assembly seat. Such workers will be eligible to contest elections for Mandal Committee and above. Also, in the coming time, he will get many opportunities to work for the party.
Earlier, BJP had launched the national membership campaign on September 2 last month. Even then the campaign was started by making PM Narendra Modi the first national member. Under this campaign, BJP has crossed the figure of 9 crore members. The first phase of the national membership campaign was completed on 25 September and the second phase on 15 October. Now active membership campaign has been started from today. Let us tell you that BJP runs a membership campaign every 5-6 years in which old members are also given fresh membership.
