Air India’s plane crash in Ahmedabad on Thursday shook the whole world. The accident was such a pleasure that it became difficult to identify the dead. India’s Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) is investigating the matter.
The US Shanal Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and Britain’s Air Accidents Investigation Branch are helping India in investigation. AAIB said the black box of Air India crashed Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft has been recovered. The black box of the aircraft was recovered from the roof of a building in the residential complex of Bij Medical College.
Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu posted on X and said, “AAIB has recovered the flight data recorder (black box) from the accident site in Ahmedabad within 28 hours. This is an important step in the investigation. This will help a lot in the investigation of the incident.”
Many videos were also revealed on social media about the black box, after which the Ministry of Civil Aviation made it clear that the box going viral is not real. The ministry said that it is not a digital flight data recorder (DFDR).
PM Modi inspected the scene
After the accident, all political veterans including Prime Minister Narendra Modi have expressed condolences. Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Ahmedabad on Friday morning, from where he went to the accident site and took stock of the situation. He inspected the scene for about 20 minutes and inquired from the officials engaged in relief work and NDRF teams.

After this, PM Modi went to the Civil Hospital in Ahmedabad, where he met the injured, inquired about their health and also spoke to the surviving passenger Vishwas Kumar Ramesh. Some of the hospitalized injured were some hostel students. PM Modi was accompanied by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu and State Home Minister Harsh Sanghvi.
