New Delhi. A private school located in Rohini, Delhi has received a bomb threat. This threat has been received a day after the blast in Prashant Vihar area of Delhi. Delhi Police became active immediately after receiving a bomb threat at Venkateshwar Global School through e-mail. The school was evacuated and police arrived with dog quads and searched the school, however no suspicious items were found. Along with the police, the fire brigade team is also present on the spot.

Delhi Fire Service officials had received a bomb threat through email to the private school. The threat was later declared a hoax after a thorough search of the school premises. At 10.57 am, Delhi Police received a call about an email containing a bomb threat. The school was the first to be evacuated after receiving the threatening email. All the students were sent to their homes and teachers were also dismissed. Let us tell you that a day earlier on Thursday, a blast of moderate intensity had taken place in Prashant Vihar area of Delhi. One person has been slightly injured in this blast.
In this blast that took place near PVR Cinema, Delhi Police had found a white powder like thing from the blast site which is being investigated. There has been no specific update in this matter yet. Meanwhile, Rohini’s private school received a bomb threat, which was taken very seriously by the police. About a month ago also, another blast took place in Rohini, Delhi. This blast took place on the road outside a school. The school wall and nearby shops were damaged due to that blast.
