Attempted attempts to infiltrate the Pathankot border, an intruder stack
Srinagar: Border Security Force (BSF) personnel thwarted an attempt to infiltrate the international border in the Pathankot sector. An intruder piled up in this BSF action. According to the information, BSF personnel saw suspicious activity along the international border in Tashpatan of Pathankot border area. After this, the BSF team came into action. Meanwhile, an intruder was crossing the international border and entering India’s border. BSF personnel challenged the intruder. But the intruder continued to ignore these challenges.
Sensing the danger, BSF personnel eventually piled the intruder. The BSF is engaged in finding the intruder’s identity and purpose. Meanwhile, the BSF says that a strong protest will be lodged in front of Pakistan Rangers over the attempt to infiltrate from across the border.
Discussion on measures to tighten terrorists
Let me tell you that earlier on Tuesday, top security officials held a meeting in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir and discussed an integrated plan to crack down on the ecosystem of terrorists in Chenab Valley. There were several terrorist incidents in the Chenab Valley last year. Officials said the government’s plan to provide weapons to ex -servicemen as complement of existing village defense guards during the Joint Security Review meeting was also discussed. The meeting was held in Dharamund military cantonment.
According to officials, the purpose of this initiative is to use the expertise of ex -servicemen so that they can actively fight terrorism and protect communities. The meeting was chaired by the Major General APS Bal, General Officer Commanding of the Anti -Terrorism Force (Delta). It was also included in the Inspector General of Police of Jammu region, Bhim Sen, and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Inspector General of Jammu region, R. Gopal Krishna Rao. Officials said that the meeting was attended by Deputy Inspector General of Police of Doda-Kishtwar-Ramban area, Sector Commander, Commanding Officer and Senior Police Superintendents (SSPs) of Doda, Ramban and Kishtwar and representatives of central and local intelligence agencies. Officials said this historic meeting is an important step towards promoting a strong coalition between the army, police, intelligence agencies and law enforcement agencies.
