A building has collapsed in Mustafabad in the capital Delhi. The incident is reported late Friday night. There are reports of many people being buried in the building debris. The NDRF team at the scene is engaged in doing relief and rescue operations. Every effort is being made to quickly remove the debris of the building. So far, 4 people have been reported to have died in this accident, while more than 15 people have been injured.
According to the police, at least 14 people have been rescued so far and were rushed to GTB Hospital, where four people were declared dead on arrival. The incident was reported at 3:02 am. The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), firefighters and Delhi Police rescue teams have reached the spot. The police further said that they were investigating the reasons behind the fall of the building.
Additional DCP Sandeep Lamba of North Eastern District said that 8-10 people are still suspected to be stranded.

On this incident, BJP MP Praveen Khandelwal said, “This is a very sad incident. I pray to God that whoever has been affected by it. The incident will be investigated and the government will take action against the culprits.”
Divisional Fire Officer Rajendra Atwal told the news agency ANI that he was reported to fall at around 2:50 am. He said, “We reached the spot and found that the entire building has collapsed and people are trapped in the rubble … NDRF, Delhi Fire Service is working to save people….”
Police say that during the dusty storm in the national capital on April 11, one person was killed and two others were injured when the wall of an under construction building near Madhu Vihar police station in Delhi.
