Canada admitted, Khalistani extremists used our land against India

Canadian top intelligence agency, Canadian Safety Intelligence Service (CSIS), in its latest annual report has officially acknowledged that Khalistani extremist (CBKES) living in Canada is using Canada land to promote violence in India, raise funds and make plans. The report stated that since the 1980s, a politically induced violent extremism (PMVE) in Canada has mainly manifested through Khalistani extremists, which support violent means for the establishment of an independent Khalistan nation in Punjab, India.

India had long expressed concern over the activities of Khalistani extremists in Canada, but Canada had so far ignored the issue in a big way. This confession of CSIS recognizes India’s claims that Canada has become a safe shelter for anti -India elements.

The report also mentions that no Khalistani attack on the Canadian land was registered in 2024, but these groups involved in violent activities in India remain a matter of concern for Canada’s security agencies. This disclosure came when efforts are underway to improve diplomatic relations between India and Canada, especially after the tension of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in 2023.
