New Delhi. Does Canadian PM Justin Trudeau want to hide something in Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar case? After all, why is his government not giving Nijjar’s death certificate to India? Hardeep Singh Nijjar was murdered in Surrey, Canada in June 2023. Canadian police have arrested 4 Indian citizens in the case of Nijjar’s murder. According to the English newspaper Hindustan Times, the NIA had asked for the death certificate of Hardeep Singh Nijjar from the Canadian government, but the Royal Canadian Mounted Police refused to give the death certificate of Nijjar. Canadian police is asking NIA why it wants Nijjar’s death certificate?
Actually, a case is registered against Hardeep Singh Nijjar in the Indian court. NIA needs Nijjar’s death certificate to update the information in the court in this case. Let us tell you that there is a lot of tension between India and Canada on the issue of Nijjar’s murder. Canadian PM Justin Trudeau has accused India of getting Hardeep Singh Nijjar murdered through its agencies. India has repeatedly asked the Trudeau government to provide solid evidence of this serious allegation, but Canada has not yet given India a single proof of the involvement of Indian agencies in Nijjar’s murder.
Hardeep Singh Nijjar has been responsible for the murder of many people in India. India had also declared him as a most wanted terrorist. At the same time, the Trudeau government of Canada had given asylum to Nijjar. Canadian PM Justin Trudeau recently gave a statement in the Foreign Interference Commission that his government did not give any evidence to India related to the murder of Nijjar, only shared intelligence information. In this case, India’s High Commissioner Sanjay Verma and 5 other diplomats were also declared persons of interest by Canada. That means Canada wanted to interrogate him in the murder of Nijjar. In protest against which India had recalled all the diplomats and also expelled 6 diplomats including the Acting High Commissioner of Canada based in Delhi. On the other hand, this issue has gained momentum in Canada also. Justin Trudeau’s Liberal Party MPs themselves want him to step down from the post of PM. Canadian opposition parties have also cornered Justin Trudeau on the issue of spoiling relations with India.
