New Delhi: SP chief Akhilesh Yadav said in the Lok Sabha that the Sambhal violence was part of a well-planned conspiracy in which four people lost their lives. He said that the administration is directly responsible for this. In the Lok Sabha, Akhilesh Yadav demanded accountability and transparency and demanded a detailed discussion on this issue in the Parliament. Akhilesh Yadav said that the incident that happened in Sambhal is a well-planned conspiracy and the brotherhood has been shot in Sambhal. BJP and its allies are talking about digging all over the country. This will destroy the brotherhood of the country.

Sambhaal violence part of conspiracy

On the Sambhal issue, Samajwadi Party MP Akhilesh Yadav said that the incident that happened in Sambhal is a well-planned conspiracy. By-elections were to be held in Uttar Pradesh on 13 November, but it was postponed till 20 November. This government does not believe in the Constitution. A petition was filed against the Shahi Jama Masjid in Sambhal. The order for survey of the mosque was passed even before the other side was heard. The survey was conducted on 19 November and the report was to be given to the court.

Demand for action against officials

He said the survey was conducted again on November 24, during which people gathered to know the reason for the survey. The Circle Officer misbehaved with the people gathered there and was lathicharged. After this the police opened fire with their government and private weapons, in which dozens of people were injured and 5 innocent people were killed. Murder cases should be registered against the police and administration and they should be suspended so that people can get justice and such incidents do not recur in future.

Akhilesh targeted Yogi government

Akhilesh Yadav said that this is a fight between Delhi and Lucknow. The people of Lucknow want to reach Delhi by the same route by which the people of Delhi have reached here. The SP chief said that action should be taken against the officials responsible for the violence.

Ram Gopal raised the issue of Sambhal in Rajya Sabha

At the same time, Samajwadi Party MP Ram Gopal Yadav accused police brutality during an incident in Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh on 24 December. According to Ram Gopal, widespread police deployment was made in the district since morning without informing the local people about its purpose. Speaking in the Rajya Sabha, he said that the District Magistrate (DM), Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), lawyer and others entered a mosque with drums, creating suspicion in the crowd.

He claimed that the disturbance started when the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) opened the water tank inside the mosque, raising concerns among locals over possible tampering. The unrest reportedly turned into violence, during which police opened fire. He also alleged that several cases were registered, several persons were jailed and detainees were severely beaten.
