Delhi’s Anti -Corruption Branch ACB has registered a case against Manish Sisodia and former Delhi PWD Minister Satyendar Jain for corruption in the construction of classes in schools at high cost. During the reign of the Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi, the alleged major scam of Rs 2000 crore came to light in constructing 12,748 classrooms/buildings.

It is alleged that the construction of classrooms and buildings increased heavy deviations and costs. Also, not a single work was completed within the stipulated period. Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain have also been accused that the advisor and architects were appointed without following the appropriate process and the cost was increased through it. According to the ACB, a case was registered after getting permission from the competent authority under Section 17-A POC Act. Manish Sisodia is already facing the case in the liquor scam case. At the same time, Satyendra Jain also went to jail in the money laundering case. Now if evidence is found against both of them in this case, then there are chances of difficulty and increasing.
Assembly elections were held in Delhi in the past. The Aam Aadmi Party lost in this election. Manish Sisodia and Satyendra Jain are no longer even members of the assembly. The BJP has already been alleging that even the toilet was shown in the name of making classrooms in Delhi’s government schools. The issue of corruption in this work was also raised by the BJP in the Delhi assembly elections.
