New Delhi. Amid the controversy over the Muda land scam in Karnataka, the Congress government of the state has taken a big decision. The Siddaramaiah cabinet has withdrawn the previous notification giving the CBI the right to investigate in the state without permission. This means that now the CBI will not be able to investigate any case in Karnataka without the permission of the state government. It is believed that the government has taken this decision after the names of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and his family members came up in the Muda land scam. The Karnataka High Court has rejected Siddaramaiah’s petition a day ago and ordered an investigation against him and his family.
