CBSE Issued Instructions to Install CCTV in Schools: High resolution audio-visual CCTV camera to be installed in all schools, CBSE issued instructions, CBSE ISSUESUES Instructions To Install High Resolutions Audio-Visual CCMERASUASUSUSUSUSUSUS

New Delhi. Taking a big decision in view of the safety of students, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued instructions to all the concerned schools that high resolution audio-visual CCTV cameras should be installed in the school premises. The instructions on behalf of CBSE states that all schools have all their entry and exit gates, stairs, classes, laboratories, libraries, corridors, canteens, store rooms, playgrounds and other common areas will have to install high resolution CCTV cameras. If there are CCTV cameras everywhere in the school premises, then the activity of all can be monitored. This will also bring confidence in the students’ minds about their safety.

However, toilets and washrooms are kept out of the purview of CCTV cameras keeping in mind the privacy. All CCTV cameras will have audio and visual recording facility and the cameras will record in real time. CBSE has also asked schools that at least 15 days recording of all CCTV cameras will have to be backup. This is because if any kind of incident occurs in the school premises, then the footage can be investigated.

CBSE says that this step has been taken in line with the security and safety of the National Child Rights Protection Commission (NCPCR). The board said that it is the first responsibility of the schools to provide safe environment to students and students. Along with this, teachers and other employees will also bring a sense of security. Recently, CBSE had instructed to install ‘Oil Board’ in schools to tell children how much food they have been used in. With this, children will be aware of their health and will be able to choose healthy options of food and drink.
