The Central Election Committee meeting was held at the Bharatiya Janata Party headquarters in Delhi. Many senior party leaders including PM Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and JP Nadda attended this meeting. Keeping in mind the Delhi Assembly elections, this meeting is considered very important. It is being speculated that after the end of this meeting, names of BJP candidates can be announced on the remaining seats of Delhi. Bharatiya Janata Party has already announced the names of candidates for 29 out of 77 seats in Delhi. It is being said that the names on the remaining 41 seats have also been finalized and a new list of BJP candidates may be released soon.

According to sources, the names of candidates for all 41 seats were discussed in the BJP Central Election Committee meeting. Names on some seats have not been decided yet, but names have been finalized on most of the seats. During this meeting, the Prime Minister suggested the Delhi BJP leaders to work harder.

In the BJP Central Election Committee meeting, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Delhi Organization General Secretary, Harsh Malhotra, JP Nadda, Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav, Iqbal Singh Lalpura, BJP National General Secretary Vinod Tawde, Dushyant Gautam, Pawan Rana, BJP Mahila Morcha. BJP national president Vanathi Srinivasan, Delhi BJP co-in-charge Atul Garg, Satyanarayan Jatiya, Sudha Yadav attended the BJP Central Election Committee meeting.
