Special things related to Chardham Yatra
The journey of Chardham Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri in Uttarakhand starts from April 30 this year. Registration for Chardham Yatra will also start from March 11. This time preparations are being made to connect the registration process of the journey with the Aadhaar card. In this connection, a proposal has been sent to allow the Unique Identification Authority of India, run under the Ministry of Information Technology, ie Aadhaar card to this process. After its permission, the process of linking registration to the Aadhaar card will start. However, it will take at least a month. This initiative will prove to be helpful in making security and arrangements during the journey.
Last time passengers had trouble
Let us know that this year Chardham Yatra will start with the opening of the doors of Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham on 30 April and the process of online registration for the journey will start from March 11. Last year, more than 46 lakh people arrived in the Chardham Yatra. In the early stages of the last time, there were many problems in registration, causing the entire schedule of passengers to go wrong. Not only this, a large number of passengers had to face a lot of difficulty without registration.
There will be no problem this time
Taking lessons from the shortcomings of the last time, it has been decided to run the process of 60 percent online and 40 percent offline registration for Chardham Yatra smoothly. Offline registration will be 10 days before the start of the journey, while online registrations will start from March 11. Garhwal Mandalayukta Vinay Shankar Pandey said that for the purpose of further organizing the yatra, steps are being taken towards linking registration with Aadhaar card.
The economic system of the three districts of Uttarakhand, Chamoli, Rudraprayag and Uttarkashi, is associated with this journey. Also, this journey is also important for the livelihood of people of Haridwar, Dehradun, Tehri, Pauri districts.
