New Delhi. In the ongoing anti -Naxal campaign in Chhattisgarh, the security forces have once again been successful. Cobra commandos and Chhattisgarh Police have arrested 22 notorious Naxalites in various operations in Bijapur district. Many modern weapons and a stock of explosive materials have also been recovered from them. On the other hand, 33 Naxalites have surrendered in Sukma. These include 9 women Naxalites. A reward ranging from 8 lakh rupees to 50 thousand was declared on these Naxalites.

The maximum reward of 8-8 rupees was declared on the surrender Naxalite Muchaki Joga and his wife Muchaki Jogi. Similarly, there was a reward of 8-8 rupees on Naxalite Kickid Deve and Manoj alias Dudhi Budhra. The reward of Rs 2-2 lakh was declared on his companions Madavi Bhima, Madvi Somdi, Sangeeta, Madvi Kosi, Vanjam Sunny, Madvi Mangli and Tati Bandi. Another Naxalite Punem Joga had a reward of 50 thousand rupees.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has shared information about the arrest and surrender of Naxalites through social media under the anti -Naxal campaign. He said that 11 Naxalites have surrendered in Sukma’s Badesetti Panchayat, with this, the Badesetti Panchayat has become completely Naxal -free. In the same Sukma itself, 22 other Naxalites have also surrendered.

Also, in Sukma (Chhattisgarh), 22 other Naxalites also surrendered, causing the total number of surrender to increase to 33.

The Home Minister said that I congratulate the security forces personnel and the Chhattisgarh Police for this success in the direction of Naxal -free India campaign. Along with this, he has appealed to the hidden Naxalites and said that the Modi government should adopt the surrender policy and enter the mainstream as soon as possible. The Home Minister has once again reiterated the resolve to free the country from the brunt of Naxalism before 31 March 2026.
