With this, the Home Minister repeated the determined determination to end Naxalism before 31 March 2026 of the Modi government. Amit Shah wrote on the social media post, “In an operation in Narayanpur, Chhattisgarh, our security forces have killed 27 dreaded Naxalites, including CPI-Maoist general secretary, top leader and Nambala Keshav Rao alias Basavraju, the spine of Naxal movement. I appreciate our brave security forces and agencies for this big success.
The Home Minister further said, it is also a pleasure to say that after the completion of Operation Black Forest, 54 Naxalites have been arrested in Chhattisgarh, Telangana and Maharashtra and 84 Naxalites have surrendered. Let us tell you that Basavaraju’s death is a huge success in the anti -Naxal campaign as it was the main strategist as well as the Supreme Commander of CPI (Maoist).
