New Delhi. Due to the open appreciation of Operation Sindoor by Congress MP Shashi Tharoor and rejecting the claim of mediation by Donald Trump, a new problem has already arisen in front of the uncomfortable Congress. In fact, the party’s strongman P. Chidambaram has also appreciated the decisions taken by the Modi government over the ceasefire between Operation Sindoor and India and Pakistan. Not only this, Chidambaram questioned the existence of the opposition’s India alliance. Chidambaram said that he is not confident about whether the India alliance is still intact or not.

Chidambaram said these things on the occasion of the release of the book titled ‘Contesting Democratic Deficit’. He said that Salman Khurshid can give clear information about India alliance as he has been a part of it. Chidambaram said that it does not seem that the India alliance is still united, it shows scatter and its future does not look bright. Chidambaram, however, later also said that the India alliance can still be added, if it is worked on in time, something can happen.

Chidambaram said, I think differently about the alliance. I believe that the alliance should not be formed only at the time of election. They have to nurture for five years. The senior Congress leader said that there are only two states in the country where the alliance has been successful in the true sense. These two states are Tamil Nadu and Kerala, the alliance parties there have been together in the election and defeat. At the same time, senior Congress leader and former Union Minister Salman Khurshid said that you cannot pressurize any party for the alliance, it is the responsibility of all parties to retain the alliance.
