In many states including the capital Delhi, there has been a surge in the cases of Korona virus. More than 100 active cases of Kovid were registered in Delhi recently. At the same time, in the meantime, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has told Delhiites on Thursday (May 29) that there is no need to panic with the Korona virus. The government is ready to deal with any situation. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said that 19 Kovid patients are hospitalized in Delhi but there is no need to worry.
CM Rekha Gupta told reporters at Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Hospital on Thursday, “Many Kovid 19 patients are hospitalized in Delhi, but there is no need to worry. Delhi government is alert and there is complete preparation in hospitals.” He said that nineteen patients are admitted in hospitals and the rest is undergoing treatment in their homes, but Kovid-19 has not reached the level where people need to worry, yet the government is ready for every situation. The Chief Minister also emphasized the need to be vigilant.
Earlier, CM Rekha Gupta had said that when Korona’s case went beyond 100, there is no emergency of Corona. Describing it as a viral infection, the Chief Minister said, “Just as a cold and cough is, Kovid-19 is also a seasonal virus.” He said that I assure people that there is no need to panic from Kovid 19, yet everyone should take precautions.
It is worth noting that if we look at the official figures of Corona in Delhi, there were 104 active patients of Korona virus in Delhi till Monday (May 26). Health officials said that 24 patients were cured last week. Last week, the Delhi government issued an advisory to hospitals asking them to ensure availability of beds, medicines and oxygen.
