China gives satellite support to Pakistan, Dragon is under India's supervision: report

The deep strategic partnership between China and Pakistan has now reached space. A recent report claimed that China has not only provided military satellites to Pakistan, but has also provided technical assistance to monitor Indian borders and strategic bases. This disclosure is considered very serious in terms of India’s security system.

According to the preparation report of espionage from satellite, China has given Pakistan advanced monitoring capacity with the help of Yaogan Series satellites. Yaogan satellites are mainly designed for military use, which are used to gather intelligence, identify goals and monitor enemy activities.

Through these satellites, Pakistan is getting real-time imagery of sensitive places in Ladakh, Arunachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and western India. China is launching a ‘collective monitoring network’ against India by sharing this data.

Experts ‘Joint Strategic Vision’ against India believe that China and Pakistan are now adopting a coordinated strategy against India not only on land and water borders, but also in space domains. China is providing technology, infrastructure and logistic assistance to Pakistan to strengthen its satellite and space monitoring system.

India’s concern over space based threats is being expressed serious concern after this report in India’s strategic circles. Experts say that it is not just a technical partnership, but part of a ‘Space Warfare Model’, with India’s military activities, missile tests and infrastructure monitoring.

India is already preparing satellite -based monitoring and security structure under the ‘Space Defense Agency’ and ‘Integrated Defense Staff’. But China-Pak alliance can give new challenges to India in this direction.

China’s dual use strategy report also states that many satellites made by China are being used for both civil and military purposes. Such satellites are considered to be citizens missions from global logic, but they are also used for espionage and accurate attacks.

Warning for India, this report is a warning for India that only protecting boundaries will not be sufficient in the coming times. Preparations are also necessary on new fronts such as space, cyber and electronic warfare. This joint space activity of China and Pakistan shows that the future wars will now be ‘decided from the sky’, and the race to make an edge there has already started.
