New Delhi. The security of Union Minister and Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) chief Chirag Paswan has been increased. Chirag will now be under JD category security cover. After the report of the Intelligence Department (IB), the Union Home Ministry has decided to increase the security of Chirag. Earlier, SSB commandos were protecting Chirag, now CRPF personnel will be deployed for his security. It is being said that in the IB Threat Report, there was a possibility of threat to Chirag Paswan. Two days ago, unknown people broke the statue of Chirag’s father, late Ram Vilas Paswan, in the Atari assembly constituency in Gaya, Bihar. It is believed that in view of this incident, a decision was taken to immediately increase the security of Chirag.

From now on, 33 CRPF security guards will be deployed for the security of Chirag Paswan. Of these, 10 armed static guards will remain at the residence. 6 round the clock PSOs, 12 armed escort commandos in three shifts, 2 commandos in watchers shift and 3 trained drivers will be present round the clock.
